Mountain hut meets loft - a place that corresponds to the idea of a cozy home and at the same time leaves space for creativity and inspiration. The delicate scent of spruce, the pleasant acoustics and the room climate represent the main material of the accommodation: wood.
Inside, modern and minimalist comfort awaits guests, offering guests a feeling of spaciousness and cosiness at the same time. The sustainable architecture with natural and high-quality materials, such as glass or linen, and special details such as light switches made of porcelain, skilfully round off the calming ambience.
The hosts Pamela and Huby, graphic designer and director, built the house in 2011 according to their individual ideas, lived in it and have been renting it out to guests since 2020. The wooden house is located between Munich and the Alps - close to the city, but still in a rural location to enjoy the tranquility of nature to the full.

Sustainable
When building the house, the focus was on sustainability. The house was built in solid wood construction without glue and without a cellar and was insulated with high quality soft wood fiber. The timber construction was implemented with regional suppliers (Bavarian sawmill), whereby the materials were considered and, if possible, sourced locally. The new wood comes from Bavaria and old wood, from various shed demolitions, is used for cladding. Paving and natural stones were covered second-hand. For the most part, the few pieces of furniture that characterize the purist style come from the family property. When making new purchases, particular attention is paid to value and durability.
The accommodation is supplied with 100% green electricity. Both the hot water for the underfloor heating and the service water are generated by the log wood stove, the wood of which is obtained from the region or produced by the company. The stove in the living room, which should be heated regularly by the guest, provides an authentic “hut feeling”. For this there is logs in front of the house. Natural cleaning agents such as baking soda, effective microorganisms or vinegar are used to help protect the environment, and waste is separated. The hosts are privately involved in the nature conservation and animal protection association.
